HOMEWORK FACTS

Students will have homework in reading, math, spelling, & script practice every night, beginning the week of 9/7, and on weekends unless indicated on this website.

You can help your child by taking opportunities to allow them real world experiences. For instance, let them pay the bill at the store and make sure they receive the right amount of change.

 

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THEIR CHILD'S HOMEWORK

  1. Your homework responsibility is to make sure your child reads at last 20 minutes, each night, Monday through Thursday and either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Then you must initial your child's reading sheet verifying they have completed their reading homework. 
  2. Student's write their homework in their planners before they leave for home. If they say they're finished with their homework, check their planner and have them show you each completed assignment.
  3. If your child does not have their planner or for some reason does not have their homework written down, you can come to this webpage and find their homework assignments below.
  4. If you child has homework that states it was not finished in class, they are not using their time appropriately in the classroom.
