The MATRIX experience has broadened student’s skills in the area of Mathematics. It has given students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and abilities to use higher order of thinking skills and apply them to authentic mathematical tasks. The use of technology has added a new level of interest to this subject area. With the use of  the Internet, Web Quests, on-line math games, graphing calculators, and the interactive text, students are able to expand their horizons. My students and I are excited about this year’s MATRIX experience and look forward to our future work.
