On the first day of Science class, you will receive 3 packets of papers.

One is the syllabus for the school year. This should be kept in your notebook/binder year round. It is a basic schedule of topics and labs that we will discover during the school year.

The second is the course requirements packet. This describes what is expected in science class. The last page needs to be signed by your parents/guardians as well as you the student. It needs to be returned to me by Monday 9/10. This is an assignment that will be graded.

The third packet is the lab safety contract. Once again, this requires signatures and must be returned by 9/10 for a grade.

  1- Begin ch. 3-1 by reading/ questions for 3-1. pgs. 74-80. Hand in for credit.

  2 - Complete GRP 3-1. Hand in for credit.

   3 - Complete OBQ 3-1. Hand in for credit.

 Due to missing class for Thursday and Friday, Adam passed out your homework in ILA class. You are to complete 1-3 GRP and OBQ. These are due Monday - 12/17. You may have already received the GRP for drifting continents, but I only have Audrey's and Binx's. So either find your original or do it again and bring it to class on Monday.

 

Still looking to have the ch. 1 test Wednesday or Thursday. So - study!!! Use the sample test!!!!

You are working in the ch. 2 packet. Sections 2-3 and 2-4 should be completed for Thursday 1/10. This will be checked in class. The entire packet is due Tuesday 1/15.

 

On Friday we will begin chapter 3 - Volcanoes. Look for the sample tests on this site as it will help you study for the test!!!!
