Exposing my 6th grade math students to different MATRIX activities has enabled them to use higher order thinking skills.  This allows students to apply the knowledge learned to their everyday math skills.  The use of technology has increased their level of interest, which keeps them on task and motivated.  The final result equates to a project that is personal to them, and a desire to engage in more MATRIX activities.
