Which Airline Is Best
The students are required to make a table of solutions for various linear equations,which correlate with different airlines and graph each on a coordinate plane. They then graph a separate point and analyze the results for which linear equation came the closest to the point. The students must write a letter to a travel agent explaining the reasons they wish to choose one airline instead of anotherto get to their destination (the point).
